I have been animating since I could hold a pencil and flick the pages of a book. In my teens I moved on from flick-books to some of the first digital animation tools around, in Aegis Animator and then Lightwave on the Commodore Amiga.
Not long after Illustration school, in 1999, I discovered 3dStudio Max. My first professional work was in the corporate space creating animations (including real-time virtual characters) for events and presentations. I have continued to develop my own ideas and projects alongside my professional work.
My professional career has included work on children's television properties and 12 years as a lead animator producing medical animation, including animating walk cycles for the The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. I have also created conceptual visualizations for Latitude Activity Centres. More recently I illustrated the board game Planetarium and co-founded PolyHero Dice with my brother Dann. With 20 years of professional experience and technical ability, I'm passionate about creativity, animation and storytelling.
